EuroEspes’ facilities occupy a surface area of 17,000 m2.
The CIBE encompasses a Medical Center, a Research Center and a Medical Informatics and Bioinformatics section. Each of these divisions enjoys functional independence and works in coordination with the remainder.

The mission of the Medical Center is patient care, and encompasses all the aspects related to clinical research, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the Central Nervous System, and Genomic Medicine

The Research Center has extensive experience in the performance of research studies applied to the development of drugs and to the genetic diagnosis of human diseases. In this field, research is directed towards the causes of diseases such as senile dementia, neurodegenerative and aging processes, the molecular biology of the most common diseases, and the development of experimental models directed towards finding more efficient treatments. EuroEspes is outstanding due to the degree of sophistication and the breakthroughs achieved in four fields of activity which are fundamental for the future, applied to diseases of the Central Nervous System and Genomic Medicine
