EuroEspes is a unique initiative in Europe which enjoys participation by public and private entities interested in the biomedical investigation of the disorders associated with the nervous system, ageing and dementia, as well as the development of an integral medical care for outpatients and inpatients alike, based on multidisciplinary effort.
As a center of International Reference, in the medical field our main interest lies in offering the population new diagnostic procedures and new therapeutic strategies which allow an improvement in the efficacy of the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system and of other incapacitating pathologies of high prevalence.
The incorporation of genomics and knowledge of the human genome allow us to set in motion preventive plans for those families in which, generation after generation, a genetically-based disease appears.
Our profile as a pioneering center in pharmacogenomics also allows us to optimize the pharmacological treatment in order to obtain the highest possible level of therapeutic efficiency, reducing side-effects and unnecessary costs.
The scientific achievements of the EuroEspes Group,the implementation of our medical and welfare protocols and the industrialization of our products are the result of a decade of research expressed in 1,500 scientific contributions on a national and international level.
